To the National Junior Swine Association Membership and Stakeholders:
2020 has certainly been a trying and challenging year. COVID-19 has forced us all to be more flexible, patient and understanding. Similarly, making decisions based on the best interests of our membership is equally as challenging. We have made our best efforts to keep information as timely and transparent as possible. Moreover, we actively seek the most timely and accurate information before making decisions.
Given the current status of events and guidelines from local, state, and national officials, as well as information we have acquired over the last few weeks, we have made the decision to move the 2020 NJSA Western Regional. The 2020 NJSA Western Regional will be held at the Reno- Sparks Livestock Event Center in Reno, Nevada, November 20-21, 2020.

In closing, we all must be flexible and adaptable during these difficult times. Please be patient with others as organizations and individuals work diligently to find the best solutions and opportunities for youth exhibitors and breeders.

In order to participate in NSR or NJSA events, all exhibitors must possess a Premise ID. All animals exhibited at NSR and NJSA events must be identified with a federally approved, permanently numbered eartag. Also, NJSA members must complete Pork Quality Assurance+ (PQA) training or Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training annually to participate in NJSA shows.
