STAGES
STAGES (Swine Testing and Genetic Evaluation System) was developed by NSR to increase the value of the pedigree by calculating the most economically significant traits and predicting the genetic value of each pig. A team of swine geneticists from U.S. land grant universities oversees the program to validate its effectiveness in making genetic improvement.

The STAGES Web site is maintained by Purdue University and contains the latest genetic estimates for breeding animals, as well as breed genetic trends.
