Foundation Female
The NJSA developed the Foundation Female program to support scholarship awards for NJSA members. Each year, the NJSA board of directors searches for an outstanding Duroc, Hampshire, Landrace or Yorkshire female from an established purebred herd to be offered for sale. In addition to offering a solid foundation piece from a proven herd, the NJSA showcases a family that supports youth projects and creates opportunities for the future of our purebred industry. This year’s Foundation Female will be a Yorkshire gilt from the Tracy Lorenzen herd in Chrisman, Ill. Thanks for your support Lorenzen family! More information will be coming soon on this outstanding foundation piece for your herd!
