What is your favorite aspect of your role with the NSR?<\/h4>\n
Maintaining all levels of fiscal responsibility is my main purpose at the NSR. That can be very tasking at times, however, developing new resources for scholarship opportunities has certainly been the most rewarding part of my career with the NSR.<\/p>\n
What is one thing you wish members knew about your job?<\/h4>\n
The NSR has over 30,000 members and at one time or another during the year they have done some form of financial activity with us. Managing that database, as well as, billing and collecting properly is a huge undertaking. If I don\u2019t specifically know who you are when you submit a question or if we make an error \u2013 please be patient. Our pool of potential prospects is huge! Our goal is to do everything right the first time but we can fall to human error just like anyone.<\/p>\n
What is your favorite NSR memory?<\/h4>\n
It’s a funny story! I don\u2019t have an ag\/swine background so at my first visit to the NSR office I didn\u2019t know which restroom to use. If you\u2019ve been to our office then you know the restrooms are labeled gilts and boars. Robin Lucas had to explain which one I should use. That was the first of MANY lessons I have learned from working at the NSR.<\/p>\n
What was your involvement in the swine industry before your time with the NSR?<\/h4>\n
None really. NSR was originally a client of Huth Thompson, a public accounting firm, and I did all of the NSR work there.<\/p>\n

I love taking long walks with my hubby and “kids.” I am a die hard euchre player, enjoy casual fishing with my dad and my family are HALLOWEEN JUNKIES!<\/p>\n Hawaii is my dream vacation. I\u2019ve been once and want to return!<\/p>\n Tacos. There are so many variations so I don\u2019t think I would get totally bored!<\/p>\n I love roller coasters! The more twists and turns the better!<\/p>\n My husband, Brian, is an amazingly kind, creative, and generous good man. I want to shout out how lucky I am to have him! My BFFs (Cindy and Bobbie)\u00a0 are my tribe!
