NSR Field Representative Kade Hummel left the NSR in August to take a position as manager of the show feed division of JBS United. Hummel worked for the NSR since March 2005, when he started as a field representative focusing on the activities of the National Junior Swine Association before transitioning to a general field representative covering parts of the Midwest and California, Oklahoma and Texas. He was responsible for promoting purebred Duroc, Hampshire, Landrace and Yorkshire swine, providing technical assistance to breeders, attending NSR and NJSA events, and promoting involvement in registry shows and sales. Hummel looks forward to management opportunities and a steady geographical work base in his new position.
