In order to participate in NSR or NJSA events, all exhibitors must possess a Premise ID. All animals exhibited at NSR and NJSA events must be identified with a federally approved, permanently numbered eartag. Also, NJSA members must complete Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training annually to participate in NJSA shows. All contests information can be found in the NJSA Handbook.

• Barrow Weight Limit: 290 lbs. or less with a 15 lb. weigh-back
• Crossbred Gilt Weight Limit: 375 lbs. or less with a 15 lb. weigh-back
• Limit per Exhibitor: 6 gilts per exhibitor with a limit of 2 crossbred gilts and 6 barrows per exhibitor with a limit of 2 crossbred barrows
• Exhibitors must show 1 purebred for every 1 crossbred (does not have to be gender specific.)
• All gilts and barrows are released at the completion of the awards ceremony on Sunday.
