Planning on exhibiting at the 2016 World Pork Expo Junior National? We have combined a list of FAQ and answers for you to look over. Remember, the entry deadline is April 14, 2016, just a few weeks away! Enter today, you are allowed to make substitutions of any kind at the show!

• Dates: June 6-11, 2016
• Release Time: All WPX Junior National Hogs are released at 2 pm on Friday June 10, but exhibitors are encouraged to stay through Saturday June 11 for the World Pork Expo Breeding Hog Sale
• Exhibitor Requirements: All exhibitors must be a member of either NJSA or Team Purebred. Exhibitors must be 21 years of age of younger as of January 1, 2016. No parents, friends, or family members are allowed in the make-up ring or show ring with an exhibitor. All exhibitors must be able to be in the make-up ring and show ring by themselves or are not permitted to show. Accommodations can be made for exhibitors with special needs by calling Kaley Bontrager at 765-463-3594.
• Penning Assignments: Pens will be assigned upon arrival. Due to space limitations, all hogs will be penned 2 hogs per pen per family.
• ALL ANIMALS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A CERTIFICATE OF VETERINARY INSPECTION (CVI) AND FEDERALLY REGONIZED EAR TAG IN THEIR EAR. THIS WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE HOGS ARE ALLOWED TO UNLOAD.
• Contests: Team Purebred Quiz, Judging Contest, Showmanship, Sweepstakes Contest
• Additional Events: Inspirational Service with Ray Perryman, Stock Show U Clinic, Awards Ceremony
• Limit per Exhibitor: Two entries, per sex, per breed. You must show one purebred barrow for every one crossbred barrow and one purebred gilt for every one crossbred gilt.
• Farrowing Deadline: November 1, 2015
• Entry Deadline: April 14, 2016
• Ownership Deadline: April 22, 2016
• Barrow Weights: 215-290 lbs. with 15 lb. weigh-back
• Crossbred Gilts Weights: 375 lbs. or less with 15 lb. weigh-back
