World Pork Expo FAQ

Planning on exhibiting at the 2015 World Pork Expo Junior National? We have combined a list of FAQ and answers for you to look over. Remember, the entry deadline is April 15, 2015, just a few weeks away! Enter today, you are allowed to make substitutions of any kind at the show!

  • Contests: Team Purebred Quiz, Judging Contest, Showmanship, Sweepstakes Contest
  • Additional Events: Inspirational Service with Ray Perryman, Stock Show U Clinic, Awards Ceremony
  • Limit per Exhibitor: Two entries, per sex, per breed. You must show one purebred barrow for every one crossbred barrow and one purebred gilt for every one crossbred gilt.
  • Farrowing Deadline: November 1, 2014
  • Entry Deadline: April 15, 2015
  • Ownership Deadline: April 24, 2015
  • Barrow Weights: 215-290 lbs. with 15 lb. weigh-back
  • Crossbred Gilts Weights: 375 lbs. or less with 15 lb. weigh-back
  • Judges:
  • Junior NJSA Purebred Gilt Judge: Andy Rash, IL
  • Junior NJSA Purebred Barrow & Crossbred Barrow Judge: Ryan Sites, OK
  • Junior Team Purebred Gilt and Barrow Judge: Kent Bennington, IN
  • Novice & Intermediate Showmanship Judge: Grant Grebner, IL
  • Junior & Senior Showmanship Judge: Adam Mendonza, CA
  • Junior Crossbred Gilt Judge: Seth Swenson, IL
