By Cassie Godwin | Published June 2, 2017

Meet the Staff :: Morgan Shrader

Morgan joined the NSR team in April 2017 as the Director of Development. She oversees programs, events, and donor relations that support the NSR foundation, as well as the NJSA.

Morgan attended Iowa State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural business and agronomy. While at Iowa State, she was a member of the National Agri-Marketing Association Team and Agricultural Business Club. Prior to her time at NSR, Shrader had several internships in the seed industry, as well as held various roles in sales and marketing for DuPont Pioneer.

Showing livestock built Shrader’s passion and love for agriculture; which she is excited to share with the NSR organization. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending livestock shows, listening to Garth and hunting in the woods.

Meet the Staff :: Layna Bond

By Cassie Godwin | Published May 8, 2017

Meet the Staff :: Layna Bond

After my first year of showing in 4-H, I knew my passion for showing pigs would lead me to a career in the swine industry. I grew up on a small family farm, in Galatia, Ill., where we raised and showed pigs at state level. Additionally, I showed cattle at state and national levels. In high school, I was very active and successful in FFA, where I was an officer, competed in CDEs and was named State Star Farmer of Illinois. After high school, I attended Lake Land College, in Mattoon, Ill., where I obtained an Associate of Agriculture. While at Lake Land College, I was a member of the Livestock Judging Team, a Student Ambassador and a member of the Agriculture Transfer Club. Currently, I am a junior at Oklahoma State University majoring in animal science-business with a minor in agricultural economics. I am [ … ]
