The 2011 National Junior Summer Spectacular has several ‘firsts’ scheduled for this year, but one of the most exciting is the offering of not one, but two foundation females this year! Waldo Farms, of DeWitt, Nebraska, has graciously offered two females to the NJSA Foundation Female for the NJSS auction in Louisville, Ky.
Both females come from a long line of Waldo genetics developed from years of selective breeding for high quality Durocs. Both gilts are sired by WFDM9 Stone Ground 238-1 and out of littermate sisters sired by WFD8 Guinness 37-2, to view their full pedigrees click http://on.fb.me/jsXCyD . The extended pedigree is exclusively Waldo genetics – a complete outcross to the remainder of the Duroc breed. To learn more about Waldo Farms visit their website at http://www.waldofarms.com/.
They will be available for viewing the week of NJSS and also will be offered for sale on Buyers Choice Auction June [ … ]
