Welcome to the 2015 edition of the National Swine Registry’s National Barrow Show® Hog College Row. We are excited about this year’s lineup and look forward to showcasing each of these individuals in the 4th annual NBS® Home Run Drive on Monday, Sept. 14 in Crane Pavilion. During the Home Run Drive, a three judge panel will collaborate to select an overall “Chairman’s Choice” from the eight boars and gilts representing their breeds. Their will also be a “College Choice” award presented to the exhibitors of the highest ranking boar and gilt based on the selections of the college teams participating. Awards will be presented to a community college and university judging team that aligns the Hog College entries closest to the committee’s final decision. This provides for a great atmosphere, while showcasing elite, foundation caliber genetics at one of the most prestigious venues in the purebred swine industry.
